Highly discourage anyone from putting their loved one in this facility. It's highly over-priced and when visiting noticed money was being put into home renovations. There are also zero social activities; patients just wander from room to room. Visits were monitored with no privacy to speak freely. When inquiring on a patient who had fallen and asked if the facility was monitored with regular safety checks, we were told that per Florida law these types of injuries did not have to be reported. This is a family business with one of the individuals having close ties to Hospice so if you try to report anything you get no answer. I had my suspicions about the drugs being given but felt very bullied when trying to get information on the patient's care. In addition, when our loved one was dying, only one hour's notice was given and when we arrived, were monitored and watched while trying to console our loved one causing further emotional distress. Please consider these facts carefully!
