Assisted Living-Palm Beach

I toured a lot of facilities for my 88 year old mother with dementia. This is by far the only place I would even consider. The larger facilities are like prisons and the caregivers at the others are awful. These employees go above and beyond to care for your loved ones. Visiting hours are excellent and no need to make an appointment. You can visit anytime up until 10pm without notice. My mother is thriving there.

My husband is staying at Assisted Living of Palm Beach Gardens. They've been excellent. The food is excellent. I can come and go pretty much any time I want to. It's secured. It's furnished. The staff takes very, very good care of the clients there. It's a small facility and they treat everybody like their family and I think it's wonderful. I haven't tasted the food, but I've seen what they served and I'd like them to cook at my house. It's an older facility, so it makes a little difference, but everything's cleaned and kept up. His room's lovely. It depends on whether you're coming from a million-dollar home or whether you're coming from an average person's home. A millionaire probably wouldn't be excited, but I would give them a five-star. They have an activity calendar. Most of the time when I happen to go, it's usually music and that's kind of what he's into at this point. I know they do other things, but I'm not always there. It's comparable to a lot of the other facilities, money-wise. It's all-inclusive. The only thing you have to provide is medicine and whatever medical coverage you need outside, but as far as anything there for personal care, hygiene, or anything like that, that's all included in the program. I didn't have to furnish it or anything.

The Management and staff here should give classes on how to treat people With love and respect. We are beyond blessed by how our wonderful mom is being cared for. We looked and found so many places lacking so we prayed and were so blessed to have found this incredible place. THANK YOU ALL!!

When I could no longer care for my dad, I began my search to find a place I could trust to care for him because he was unable to communicate to us if he was mistreated or had any issue. I was terrified to turn his care over to anyone else. I came across PBG ALF and saw the 5* rating so I investigated. I went To visit unannounced and when I walked in the door I heard laughter and singing. I saw every single staff member either working or sitting talking with the residents. And I smelled the most amazing aroma of a healthy delicious lunch being cooked and I was invited to stay. After talking to the director I knew this was the only place for my dad. He lived there for just under a year before he passed away and these people showed him more love and care than I have ever seen. My dad was not an easy personality but they somehow managed to get him laughing when he was being difficult and we grew to love these people as members of our family.

It doesn't get better than this in terms of a loving and caring staff. My mom just passed away but was fortunate to live the last year of her life here. She had previously been in another facility with wonderful programming but as she declined, they no longer met her needs. ALPBG is always immaculate and each person is treated with love and respect. They are very unique and am thankful for everything they did for her.
