The staff is physically abusive. The food nasty, the premises are filthy, especially bathrooms. Meals served in rooms. Administration is not available d/t meetings, they leave at 2pm.The medical NP took away my pain meds and demonstrated inadequate pharmaceutical knowledge. I am a APNP, CRNA for 40 years. So I can be judgemental. They Baker Acted me three times for yelling at my roommate watching TV 2/7
If you are considering this assisted living, I wanted to share my experience with what I have consistently seen. The director Anthony and Charlie are something special! They have an open door policy and most of the time they will be found actively helping out a resident from sitting and talking, to planning a fun event for them, assuring their residents homes are as comfortable for them as possible. They really do make you feel special and it's a beautiful thing to witness so I felt inclined to share. Bravo to the staff at Aspire Beneva!
I wrote a previous review and I would like to take it back as the facility has gone downhill very fast. It is no longer the quality that it once was and that I wrote about. Staff is vulgar and rude, and they sleep in common areas during the night when supposedly on duty. The rooms/ carpets are not cleaned and the halls smell of urine. Medications are inconsistent and pharmacy is not local. Food is not good. Administration changes often I am fearful of retaliation of my family member if I say anything.
Where do I begin... My father lived here. RIP ♥️ Place is disgusting and never cleaned. Old food still sitting there. My dad had accidents and everything was covered in feces. The people were almost never nice to him or the people who came to see him. They don't care about your family! Don't bring your loved ones here. Period. At all. Period.
My sister currently resides at the assisted living facility at Beneva Lakes. The facility is clean and most importantly the people are friendly. The new administration is changing things up and bringing new vibrant life to the residence. I actually enjoy my visits there and I know that my sister is in good hands. I look forward to the wonderful changes that are on the horizon. Thank you Beneva Lakes, you have made it comfortable for my sister to live with as much independence as possible while still overseeing her medical needs.
