Plus if I left without being discharged I would be stuck with the bill. They falsified my records at admission through the weekend. When I complained about this, supposedly a investigation was done. The conclusion was that when I came in I was very confused and disoriented, so couldn't remember what was done. If this was the case, why was I put in a room on a bed with no bed rails and no one checking on me. Also as I was a fall risk, why…

If this was the case, why was I put in a room on a bed with no bed rails and no one checking on me. Also as I was a fall risk, why was I told I could get up and go to the bathroom on my own. Which I questioned at the time as my main problem was getting dizzy and passing out. The next morning, Sunday, I was told I needed to have someone in the room with me before I get up. Anyway I'm out of there and will be finding out what I can do now. Also the food was awful. If I had not had snacks brought in from home, I would have gone hungry as I doubt even my dogs would eat most of what was served. Also as a diabetic I was never on the correct diet. I was on a regular diet and then it was changed to reg/cho diet. Doesn't matter as it would not have improved the quality of food. Also no drinks were provided. I found out after a couple days that I had to request a drink when the meal was served. I couldn't drink the water as it was awful. It was just tap water, they don't filter it. Thankfully my family brought bottled water and coke zero for me. You can't even get coffee until they bring up the meals. I've worked many places in health care in the past and never have I heard of this practice. Also on admission I was told that snacks were not provided, then later I was told I could request a snack and if they had any they would let me have one. I did request a snack twice, I was given a oatmeal cookie and requested milk with. The last night I requested one and was able to have graham crackers and milk. Again I found this to be quite odd for such a facility. Below you can see many of the meals. I've never had scrambled eggs that tasted so bad.

My Grandfather has been here for 2 weeks and I love the staff. Patients are always moving about the facility and we have not had an issue with cleanliness. The building is a little older and rooms small but the patients themselves will say they are happy here. My Grandfather is improving daily.
Absolutely awful place. The staff will take stuff from one patient and use it with another, take clothes, medical equipment, you name it. They will flat out ignore other patients if they cannot eat or take their meds, and practically let them die! My father in law had 3 other patients in the co-op room next to him die, and I could tell from malnutrition or not taking meds! Disgusting conditions, and multiple times my mother in law saw cockroaches all over the room my father in law was in and the cafeteria. They also claimed that they could do stuff “better than the hospitals” and legit just hook up an IV drip when my father in law’s blood sugar was 14!! FOURTEEN! You’ve got to be joking me! Don’t get me started on what they DIDN’T do either. My mother in law is probably the only person who actually gave a damn about my father in law and kept him alive as long as she did!! She would have to come up Every. Single. Day. and do their job for them. They never helped him with his clothing changes, never helped him with his meds or food, and let her practically WORK FOR THEM FOR FREE! Disgusting place, do not bring your loved ones here. You want them to be happy, safe, and well cared for in their old age? DON’T bring them here. You all need to be actually trained…or fired.
