The van to bring them to Walmart, doc appt ect...has not been used/moved since my dad has been there the last 6 months. However, based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.
Our mother came from another state to be closer to family. She needs assistance with care. We found Arbor Oaks to be clean and friendly! They offer Bingo, movies, musical concerts, some crafts, daily and weekly care, plus laundry service, 3 meals a day, icecream socials, etc. I could go on and on... She chooses to do. They have a lovely garden and beautiful reading spaces in and outside. We could not be happier for our mother.

I've have stayed with Arbor Oaks a few years and absolutely loved it..But the receptionist that they have now is very rude and I've seen many of them come and go..The property manager is very nice and a Peach..I had to call several times just to get a response she says she was on lunch I guess her lunch was all day.I also called before I got there..Still no answer!! She so unpleasant to talk to.
This is an amazing community! it certainly feels like home the minute you walk up to the building. The staff was so kind, knowledgeable and compassionate. You could see the residents were happy and out of their rooms and doing activities. We met several of the residents and they told us what a great place this. Some palaces we visited we were lucky to see just one resident. We looked at several places in the area and yes some came with all the bells and whistles but felt so sterile and abrasive. My family member is thriving at a level I have not seen in years! Could not be any happier that we chose this place.

If you are looking for a place where your loved one will be cared for like family, this is it! The care and compassion starts at the top with Executive Director Kelly O’Sullivan and runs through the entire staff. My mom has lived in AO for 2 years and we can rest easy knowing she is safe. They have lots of activities and entertainment to keep life interesting for her and her apartment is very nice. We looked at several places and this one felt like home! Thanks to all the AO staff for your kindness to mom and our family.
My parents recently moved into Arbor Oaks at Tyrone and we have found there is a long list of positives in a very short time. The care and hard work of all the staff is exceptional! The executive director, Kelly O'Sullivan has done an outstanding job of taking care of all details. She has been patient, caring and knowledgeable in all aspects throughout our move. The facility is kept clean, kitchen service and food are great, tons of activities and entire staff is upbeat and pleasant. We are very fortunate to have found this facility!
