She loves her friends - residents and staff, and has her perfect mix of social time and “alone time” - whatever she’s in the mood for. She’s a reader and she inspired a special library hang out right outside her door. Her balcony is her absolute happy place! There were some rocky times…

Having changed ownership a few times since my mom moved to this facility I can honestly say the current management is the best yet. The facility is lovely but it is the people that matter and the staff are wonderful and attentive. They’ve become like family and I rest very easy (now!) with my mom living there. She loves her friends - residents and staff, and has her perfect mix of social time and “alone time” - whatever she’s in the mood for. She’s a reader and she inspired a special library hang out right outside her door. Her balcony is her absolute happy place! There were some rocky times with the other management but it’s been smooth sailing since becoming Sagewynn.
Mom has had a wonderful experience, especially since The Goodman group purchased the facility. Nursing staff is incredibly loving and caring; administrative staff is caring and responsive. Mom has made wonderful friends with staff and residents. Our family is comforted and grateful knowing that our Mom is so well cared for.
My mom moved from independent living there to assisted living at Amira choice now Legends. She likes being inside the building. All of the people have been extremely nice and helpful and sweet. My family is very happy and my mom is making lots of new friends. I am so grateful to the wonderful woman who helped us get my mom moved and the social Director there who is very nice and helps elderly people make new friends. Love the desk girls too. My mom moved from independent living there to assisted living at Amira choice now Legends. She likes being inside the building. All of the people have been extremely nice and helpful and sweet. My family is very happy and my mom is making lots of new friends. I am so grateful to the wonderful woman who helped us get my mom moved and the social Director there who is very nice and helps elderly people make new friends. Love the desk girls too. They are super friendly and helpful. Update: I Love This Friendly Retirement Community. I just spent two nights and 3 days there making sure my 95 year old mom was ok because she had a short hospital stay as her blood pressure spiked. My mom and I came back and everyone was so sweet, especially the director of nursing and her staff were very, very helpful and nice and super accommodating. They are friendly and truly care about your parent in assisted living. Very organized in nursing dept. The dining room staff was so sweet and friendly, that is why the residents love going to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The chef is very good. I never met him, but the food was perfect! They keep the place super clean and have workouts four days a week before lunch for the residents. Great exercise teacher. Every time I put a basket of trash out in the hallway, it was gone immediately. The cleaning staff is so good. The front desk girls are adorable and friendly. That is why they have a waiting list and my mom has lived here in independent, living and assisted living. Soon she’ll be 96 And I feel so comfortable having her stay there all the people, including the residents are the sweetest ever! Legends of Sarasota deserves five stars! I had fun visiting my mom!

There are 5 giant and bright stars hovering over Amira Choice Sarasota Memory Care tonight. While dining with my client I noticed an incident developing. A resident was choking. Immediately all aids were gathered around the choking resident. One of the aids helped the resident to stand up. At the same time, another aid called for the nurse. As the resident stood, the food dislodged and breathing finally continued. Those involved were simply doing their jobs as they tirelessly do day in day out. They work hard often taking on double shifts back to back. Here are a few of their names: Julia, Tacori, Desireè, Precious, Neesha, Junide, to name a few. Forgive me if I have forgotten someone who was there tonight. When so many other places are disgraceful concerning care, I am so happy and proud that these aids exist. They work hard, love their work, and genuinely care about the people at the Amira Choice Memory Care. Well done to each of you! May Grace be with each of you daily!! Gayle Anderson, private caregiver
I have been very pleased with Amira since relocating here. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Your needs are met efficiently and timely. Re maintenance issues handled quickly The meals are excellent. Overall I give this facility a high rating. Highly recommend
Amira Choice is a wonderful community. From the gorgeous interiors, dining and the activities, it is a great place to live. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and they even have a pool. It is located in a great part of Sarasota, near the mall, wonderful restaurants and close to everything.
Very nice look and feel of home
We are thrilled! We moved Mom from an unrelated Assisted Living into Memory Care here at Amira Choice Sarasota. The staff here is truly loving and caring. If we need help with anything they respond immediately. She is out of her room most of the day because of the enrichment programs. She seems much happier now. As you know, when Mom is happy, everyone is happy. Thank you Tiffany, Brooke, Michelle, Jesse, Tanya and the rest of the staff. I can rest easy because you are there.
