Always There Citrus Springs

Always There Assisted Living was a nice community. It was a little bit different from the others I visited. They had different houses. It wasn't just one big facility. They had semi-private rooms and they were clean. They took me through two of the homes and both of them were very clean, too. The residents seemed to like their living arrangements. The person who took me around was very informative, very caring, and answered all of my questions. They also do different activities. Each home had a couple of people who worked there, and they would prepare the residents' meals for them. It was a good experience. I toured the memory care. There were people doing puzzles and people that were playing cards. They do group activities, like get-togethers, celebrate people's birthdays or the 4th of July, and all that kind of stuff. Each home was fenced in and they had outdoor patios closed in.

I was very impressed with Always There Assisted Living, LLC - Citrus Springs, FL. It was very clean and very nice. It seemed like they had everything that they needed for the residents who were there and stuff. But my mother doesn't have long-term health insurance, so couldn't afford for her to go there. It was the cul de sac, and they have several houses. The houses are all set up for the residents who stay there. They all have their own bedroom, but they have a common area for TV and dining. They had a screened-in porch where they could go out and sit out there. It was set up very nice, and I liked that. I liked the fact that the bedrooms were nice-sized. This one, they had just finished it, and they had room for four more residents to go there. The other houses were already full. So that's the one that I looked at. You could see that the outside was very well maintained.

Always There is a home setting that is full of love. Along with exceptionally caring staff consistent care residents thrive. During the past difficult year with Covid, I cannot express how much Always There has more than gone the extra mile with making my brother and us a part of their family. The residents truly care about each other and enjoy family meals and fun times together daily. My brother has blossomed under their loving care. When we initially brought him-he was so frustrated and we just didn't know what to do. They assured us they would be able to help him. It has been like a miracle to us. My Brother now-is again happy and loving like he truly is. Always There is truly committed to doing everything possible to surround every person living there with whatever they need to give them the best life possible. They have not only taken care of my brother but they have Blessed my husband and I in the process. I recommend this facility above any of the many facilities we have interviewed and toured. Excellent care, clean facilities, and a fun, loving staff are awaiting anyone that comes home to Always There.

Always There's staff was very friendly. The room we were shown was ridiculous though. The width of the room was the width of a bed so it was ridiculously tiny. We saw other shared rooms though where the size was reasonable. A resident we spoke to while we were waiting told us she was bored, and the residents we saw were really just sitting in their rooms and not doing anything. The staff was friendly and the outside surroundings were very nice and wooded.

My mother has been there for a little over a month and it has been a good experience so far. The home is in a quiet culdidsac, and they only have 13 residents. It is more of a family approach and they have all of the residents together. The ladies there seem to really care about their residents, I am happy with the care my mother is receiving.
