Beautiful facility although lighting in breakfast dining area is dim and makes it difficult to see. Independent living is separate from Assisted Living in all aspects, including dining, so if resident has to move to AL, they have to dine with AL folks, which seems sad to me. Also, rent was raised just 5 months after move-in date. We were not prepared and have to use savings to make the increase work until we find a less expensive place.
My mother-in-law entered assisted living at Addington Place two years ago after a minor stroke prevented her from living independently. The facility is exceptionally well maintained and always clean. The staff is polite and, kind, and caring. Our family has been very satisfied with the level of care that our mom receives there. When issues have arisen, which has been rare, the management works quickly and efficiently to resolve them. My family often has to travel, and when we do we are very comfortable that mom is being well cared for in our absence. Most importantly, mom is very happy there!

My mother has just moved in about 3 months ago she has finally gotten settled. All her furniture has arrived and pictures have been hung. Thank God for the maintenance team who hung ALL of her pictures I could not have done it alone. So far she has made some friends and is enjoying the activities. I have to say the welcome she has received is amazing. She had moved here from California and is in Independent living. The entire team at Addington has been so helpful. The entire place is beautiful and clean. I have spent many months researching communities around the area and I am so happy she chose Addington Place

Supporting staff are wonderful & kind. A simple shame how family is treated/spoken to, disregarded and disrespected by upper management during such a complex time in their parents care. Incredibly unfortunate & adds unnecessary stress.
Addington Place of Stuart has been a great blessing for my mother. Everything about this place just screams home, the staff are wonderful people who you can tell are very well trained. They get to know every resident and their family members on a personal level. Not to mention the management team were so helpful throughout our transition making our move so easy. My mother is in assisted living and after reviewing all the other communities nearby I am very happy with our choice, picking Addington Place as my mother's home. She quickly made friends as they have a great ambassador program.
We overall had a very good experience there with my ill mother-in-law.The food was excellent Social activities were very enjoyable for her . The staff was friendly and attentive .Her apartment was more than adequate in size. I would recommend the facility highly. It has the feel of a nice hotel.
