I highly recommend using their service to furnish and decorate the room for you for a monthly fee. It made a stressful time SO much easier and seamless. I leave my visits with dad feeling great about my choice and his well being. The food is really good as well. Would definitely recommend 81 Oaks to any one struggling with this choice.
What a beautiful community. I have spent most of my career working in Independent, Assisted and Memory Care facilities. 81 Oaks is by far one of best I have seen. From the moment you walk inside you are greeted by attentive, smiling staff. The thoughtful design of the community is exceptional.

Amazing Place and Amazing People! My brother lived here for over a year and we feel blessed to have found 81 Oaks. The exceptional facilities and amenities are only surpassed by the quality of the leadership team and staff. From the top all the way to the cleaning crew, the 81 Oaks team is focused on the comfort and care of the residents. There are always fun activities going on and residents can be as involved as they like. From a fully equipped gym, movie theater, computer room, and game room to a very comfortable dining area, it was all designed to provide the best possible experience for the residents. You will not find a better place for a loved one to maintain their independence and quality of life.

All of the people at 81 Oaks are wonderful. It’s a pleasure to live with them. I enjoy the owner, the administration, the nurses, the caretakers, med techs, housekeeping,, maintenance, servers, and kitchen help. The concierges are also fabulous. The facility is clean and a nice place to live. There are fun activities run by fun people to keep us going. The dining room is open from 7:00am until 7:00 pm for ease of making dining plans.
Thank you to Nancy and TerriAnne who welcomed us warmly when we took our first tour, when we came back again and when we moved our dad into 81 Oaks. You have both been available in person and over the phone. We appreciate that a lot since it’s been a big change for all of us and it was nice having such amazing support. Being invited to the open bar at happy hour made us all happy as well! :) Thank you to all of your staff who are friendly and the residents who encouraged us to join them for happy hour and dinner. We had shrimp cocktail, filet mignon and a couple daily specials. Everything was very delicious. Conversations with the other residents at the table were fun and lively. Great group of residents. Hope to see them again next time. Our dad has new friends now.
Building is beautiful. Lots of open lobby and dining space for residents to eat, drink and socialize. That is what appealed to me and my family when we toured a couple times. The residents were friendly and happy. As were the little dogs who live there and were hanging out in the lobby. We don’t have a dog but definitely having a dog friendly community is a plus for those residents who do and for the other residents who enjoy seeing a dog every day. We heard the memory care residents have regular pet therapy sessions. Once my mom actually moved in to the assisted living side we still see all the friendly residents but now we also have very nice interactions with the staff. Happy to be at 81 Oaks.
Our uncle moved into 81 Oaks after no longer being able to live alone. After a little adjustment period, he made new friends and likes eating with them. We also get to eat lunch with him whenever we’re in town. With the dining room open all day, he eats whenever he wants and gets to hang out with other residents and with the very friendly servers. It’s been great for him! But the best thing that happened was the change in management over the summer, thanks to the owner. This type of change could be a cause for concern, but definitely not in this case. It was quite the opposite feeling. We were very impressed with the new executive director and her assistant, who we met on our last visit. Unlike before, there is now a very professional, enthusiastic group of Directors who are happy and interested in the residents every day. Everything was always good, but now it’s so much better. We highly recommend 81 Oaks… and Executive Chef Anthony is here. Was happy to also see his smiling face when we ate lunch with our Uncle. 😃 Apparently he was here before so some of the other residents already know him... and his delicious meals and desserts! So happy our Uncle is in a very good place.
DON’T—Memory care at 81 Oaks Senior Living- [1] they don’t have enough staff [2] residents live in unsanitary conditions [3] if your loved one goes to Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital- they refer to 81 Oaks & not give other options. Don’t send your loved ones to their memory care!
